Since 2011, we have been wanting to use blockchain technology to implement a global, inherently stable, cryptocurrency based on UBI and demurrage. One of the biggest obstacles has been the limited scalability of blockchains. Not seeing any significant progress in layer one scalability we started the Shardus project in 2016 to create a distributed ledger with state sharding at its core and were the first to demonstrate linear scaling in 2019. Shardus is currently being used to create a payment, messaging and crowdfunding DAO with on-chain governance called Liberdus. The testnet is live at test.liberdus.com and developers can now begin using Shardus to create their own decentralized services. Developer docs are available at shardus.com/docs
