Crypto is finding product market fit. With $1.5B locked in DeFi Lending and $9B Total locked in DeFi, the space is red hot and growing. Even so, there's a long way to go. The United States market alone has over $100B in personal loans, while the global lending market size exceeds 7 Trillion USD. At current scale, DeFi has grown to .01% of the global lending market, becoming one of the fastest growing categories of finance. With more actions done online and remotely, DeFi has a chance to shine at the global level, bringing unprecedented access and innovation to anyone with internet access. As latest technologies enhance the ability to do more on chain, cross chain, access stable assets, gain leverage, and trade in an entirely decentralized way, it's time to expand. This talk explores DeFi innovations such as stable on chain assets, lending, collateralization, trading, and cross chain activity.
